This game was made by one lad in 24~~ hours. I had fun and developed some nice techno for future jam

About the Game
This is a fast-paced platformer where you play the same level in loop, unlocking new abilities based on your best completion time allowing you to go even faster.

The main goal was to experiment with a physics-based (rigidbody) character controller and implement fun mechanics like rocket jumping, a grappling hook, and sliding. Turns out, doing that in ~24 hours is hard.

Note to myself -> I probably should’ve asked a level designer for help to better showcase the systems or even an artist so I don't need to use Unity's building blocks  but hey — people are busy and it's regular game jam life :)

For those interested in testing the game, here are a few key points:

  • Objective: Go from the green zone to the red zone.

  • Yellow pads = jump boost

  • White pads = speed boost

  • Sliding down slopes builds up a lot of speed!

Controls (Hardcoded):

  • WASD – Move

  • CTRL – Slide

  • Left Click – Rocket Jump (once unlocked)

  • Right Click – Grappling Hook (once unlocked)

  • Q – Unlock all abilities

  • R – Reset to start point

Theme Interpretation:
The "loop" theme was interpreted as replaying the same level over and over to get faster — and in an ideal world, maybe even uncover hidden zones as you improve.
